Some of you perhaps hoped for it and here it is: the first official decrease in prices of Intel Core Ultra 200S alias Arrow Lake-Sthe latest born in processors for the firm’s office computers, who broke the new socket LGA1851. The modification has just been announced on May 6, 2025 by Thomas Hannaford, brand communication manager, on the Official Blog Intel Community. A detail that may surprise you, however: only two processors out of the 17 Official Arrow Lake-S see their prices decrease. The result is that some models lose almost any interest which suggests that other adjustments will follow very soon.
Here is to start the old tariff grid of Intel Core Ultra 200s. As we write this news, these prices are always those present on the official product sheets of each of these processors, on the Intel.com site:

The “old” prices he indicates are each $ 5 lower than those indicated on the official cores of the ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 7 265KF Core. Why not, even if reason escapes us a little. The very good news is therefore this impressive drop of an additional $ 100 on each reference, which brings them both and in the box version please below $ 300 with $ 299 for the U7 265K box and $ 284 for the U7 265KF box respectively.
The question that arises now is “what remains at the ultra 5 245kf core and 245kf?”, If the big brothers Ultra 7 are ultimately even a little less expensive than the U5 at 319 and $ 304. It is on this point that it will be interesting to see if Intel makes other decisions so strong in the coming days and weeks. Even with a slightly less violent drop, a small ultra 5,245k core to 250-260 € for example would become quite essential for those who are above all concerned with productive performance and want to benefit from the much better controlled electricity (and heating) consumption on the new Intel generation.
Since we are talking about prices in euros, let us specify that these new prices, to the conversion rates of this May 6, 2025, would give € 317 for the Core Ultra 7 265K Box, and € 300 for the Core Ultra 7 265KF. Associated with the offer of the two games currently offered to some Intel partner resellers, the U7 265K (F) would come back strongly in the most interesting processors of the moment, no offense.
