Chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, the meeting of the political bureau was marked by a presentation addressing a set of national and international issues. It was also a question of reviewing the current political and social situation and examining the party’s organizational aspects.
This meeting, held in the city of Dakhla, testifies to the loyalty of the party to its philosophy of proximity and listening to citizens, since the party will launch a series of meetings of its political offices which will be held successively in all regions of the kingdom, in a tradition that the party has devoted for the third time since its sixth national conference. It is also a question of defending an original idea which is part of the identity of the party considering advanced regionalization not only as a mechanism to improve the efficiency of the administration or territorial governance, but also a method and a model of thought expressed through political action as well as in decision -making and in the implementation of public policies in order to meet the local needs of each region separately.

At the start of the meeting, the political bureau recalled the successive diplomatic victories obtained thanks to the great efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the defense of our first national cause, symbolized by the international recognition of the Moroccanity of the Sahara, which strengthens the pride of all the components of the Moroccan people of the wisdom and the clairvoyance of His Majesty the King, and support The Moroccan autonomy initiative in the southern regions of the kingdom to resolve this artificial regional dispute. In the same context, the political bureau has welcomed achievements in the southern regions of the kingdom, whether in basic infrastructure or at the level of economic dynamism and job creation, which confirms the solidity of the choices that the kingdom made, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI who launched in 2015 the development model of the southern regions, endowed with a budget of no less than 80 billion dirhams. This model, which has contributed to achieving global and balanced development, strengthening the position of the southern regions of the kingdom as an economic pillar and bridge connecting Morocco to the African continent and to the rest of the world, while transforming these regions into areas of attraction for investment and economic growth.
Dynamism
Referring to the dynamism that the regions of the southern kingdom know, the political bureau noted the various initiatives launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to enhance the status and the influence of our southern regions, and at their head the initiative aimed at allowing the countries of the Sahel to access the Atlantic Ocean, recalling in this context the audience granted by His Majesty the King, Foreign affairs of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.
An audience that reflects the convergence of the aspirations of these countries in search of new economic alternatives, with the economic initiatives proposed by Morocco, taking into account what this single royal initiative bears which would open new horizons to the Sahel countries on the economic and commercial levels, and consolidate South-South cooperation to deal with the common political challenges, development and security. Regarding the Palestinian cause, the political bureau has firmly condemned the continuous Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip, which have made thousands of innocent Palestinian civilian victims, in flagrant violation of humanitarian principles and international law.
In this context, the political bureau affirms its categorical rejection of these attacks which undermine peace efforts and exacerbate the sufferings of the Palestinian Brother. The party also renews its full support for the firm position of Morocco under the direction of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, who has repeatedly affirmed that just and lasting peace can only be carried out by the creation of an independent Palestinian State, with East Jerusalem.

At the organizational level, the political bureau praised the dynamism of communication in which the National Rally of Independents was involved, which launched “Massar Injazate” (way of achievements). It is a national communication tour which will concern 12 regions and more than 70 local authorities, in the presence of the ministers of the party and the members of its political bureau. This operation coincides with the mid-term of local authorities. This communication tour, whose kick-off was given in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, will constitute the opportunity to consolidate the policy of the local party with citizens and interaction with their expectations. The goal is also to positively approach the different challenges raised in terms of development and territorial work. The party also aspires to contribute to enriching the public constructive and productive public debate on solutions within the framework of the “independent debate” meetings, which will be organized throughout this communication tour, which will also be the opportunity to review the achievements of the RNI at the local level.
