This Thursday, April 24, 23 Thursday, there are 23 to meet in the multipurpose room of the Louis-Pasteur school in Gujan-Mestras. All are students from the Atelier Théâtre de l’Association Arts et Traditions (ATGM). They prepare their end -of -year show with Thierry Chapelier, host. This means that the motivation is very present for these actors, some have already played in pieces mounted by the association, while others hope to see their name appearing on the program of one of the next creations.
On the scene materialized by paravents and marks on the ground, they repeat “the adventures of Marguerite Poty”, a play in three acts written specially for the occasion by Thierry Chapelier. She will dive the actors and train the public in a reception hall. In turn, she will become the scene of scenes most whimsical and unexpected that the others where objects and lives intertwine around a mysterious central figure: Marguerite.
Reflections of the work of the year
Author and director explains that he wanted to make tailor-made. “Work in three distinct groups that are articulated together in three acts to create a complete story where everyone has the same stage time”. Well beyond equity, each act is a comedy and the reflection of the work carried out during the year. “The first is based on emotions and silences. The second on the social, the movements and the occupation of the scene. The third on the absurd, global management and listening to others. »»
This is what the students of the theater workshop will make the public of the mirror discover, Tuesday May 13 at 8:45 pm. “We are innovating with projection for the sets”, reveals Thierry Chapelier.
