Aviron Gruissanais has just announced a final series of extensions. It confirms the stability of the workforce since 90 % of players will be Gruissanais next season.
On the front line, two players (Monneret and Vicente) had already extended. Today these are four other first lines.
The hooker Aurélien Blanc (1 m 81, 110 kg 30 years in June) had played in Vannes (Pro D2) and Narbonne (Pro D2). Released from the Tuchan rugby school, he will play his fourth season in rowing. “I like Gruissan and the global organization of the club has evolved. The club is also strengthened. The left pillar Alexandre Baron (30 years since April) will start his fifth season in Rowing at the start of the school year. “I am attached to the club and I get along well with all the players”. Alex will find coach Christophe Pibouleu. “I was champion of France hopes with Narbonne when he trained us. I really appreciate him. We have to have ambition, to work and to be united so that the club succeeds”.
The left pillar Nabil Kajjaj (24 years old) who can also evolve on the right, will play his eighth season in rowing. “It’s a real lease. Rowing is my training club. I feel good here and I believe in the project”.
A high level
The right pillar Léon Gourmand (24, 1.85 m, 130 kg) was important last season. He will still be this season to come which will be his 4th rowing. “There is a great group. I feel good in this club and there is a high level.” Léon had two contacts but wanted to remain faithful to the club of President Grand.
The five -in -law five in front, there are two other players that the club wanted to keep. This is the third Robin Curbaille line (26 years old), trained at EFSC and which was registered on 10 matches of matches for its first season in Aviron. “I enjoy and learn.
