International sales of phosphates and derivative reached 20.3 billion dirhams (MMDH) at the end of the quarter of 2025, an increase of 18.2 % in annual sliding, according to data published by the Exchange Office (OC).

This boom results mainly from the rise in exports of natural and chemical fertilizers, increasing from 14.9 % to 14.8 MMDH, raw phosphates (+52.8 % to 2.01 mmdh) as well as phosphoric acid, whose revenues increased from 17.2 % to 3.5 MMDH.

In the same momentum, the aeronautical sector has seen its exports rise to more than 7 MMDH (+15 %), carried by the vigor of the assembly segments (+13.9 % to 4.54 MMDH) and electrical interconnection systems (EWIS, +10.4 % to 2.46 MMDH).

Products from “other mining extractions” recorded an increase of 20.2 % to 1.38 MMDH, while sales from “other industries” increased from 16.8 % to 7.52 MMDH. Agricultural and agrifood exports, on the other hand, increased more modestly by 0.8 % to 26.74 MMDH.

On the other hand, several manufacturing sectors have had a withdrawal: electronics and fell 11.6 % to 4.21 MMDH, the automotive sector from 7.8 % to 37.36 MMDH and the textile-leather from 1.4 % to 11.51 MMDH.

“Global demand remains contrasted, according to industrial branches”said a source close to the file.
