The sponsor of Franco Colapinto reversed after revealing that the young Argentinian would take over from Jack Doohan at Alpine F1 in Imola.
One of the main supporters of ColariTo, a young 21 -year -old rookie, is the Argentinian oil giant YPF, whose president intervened on the local A24 channel earlier this week.
“I can’t tell you,” A RI Horacio Marin, president of YPF, when asked when Colapinto, the new replacement for the team, would take the place of Doohan this year.
However, while the end -of -program screen scored and Marin thought that his microphone no longer worked, he whispered at the interviewer: “To imola”.
The video and information (which we reported to you yesterday) obviously became viral and have been taken up by many media, causing the clarification of sailor during a media appearance in recent hours.
“What I say is that I hope that Franco will run to Imola,” tries to clarify the president of YPF, probably aware of being “A little too advanced”.

Marin insisted on the fact that he had no knowledge of the Colapinto calendar, even if his beginnings in Imola in just over two weeks would surely involve YPF.
“How am I supposed to obtain this information if I am the president of YPF and not the representative of ColariTo? I have an extraordinary relationship with him, but I do not speak to him all day.”
Marin says he had a similar prediction last year, before Colapinto replaced Logan Sargeant in the middle of the season at Williams.
“When I saw Franco, I told him that he was going to make his debut in two weeks. I told him that the guy there (Sargeant) was going to be distracted and breaking his car, and that they were going to call him.”
“Later, he came to see me and asked me how I knew it. I would have liked to buy a lottery ticket and earn a lot of money. It’s the same thing.”
