and socialist unions will come back to the street on Tuesday, April 29, to denounce the policy led by the federal government. Mobilizations are planned in several regions of the country. This “regional” of action is a continuation of the strike on March 31.

The mobilization of unions continues with regard to the “social breakdown” policy of the Wever government. “Billions for weapons, crumbs for workers,” deplores a leaflet of the socialist union. Among the claims are the reform of pensions, the limitation of unemployment benefits over time and budget cuts in public services.

Gatherings are announced in several cities, notably in Brussels, Charleroi, Liège and Verviers. A delegation from the union will also go to Bièvre, to the of Namur, to meet the Federal Minister of Employment and the Economy, David Clarinval (MR). Actions are also planned in Flanders, especially in and Ghent.

Beyond the demonstrations, strike stakes will be set up in several zonings and businesses. The unions intend to carry out awareness with citizens, with distributions of leaflets planned for frequented roundabouts, such as in Mons and La Louvière.
