The Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, urged rapid action on Thursday to obtain a cease-fire with Russia. This declaration comes after a series of intensive talks in Paris with American and European partners.
Sybiha met the French Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, the British Secretary of State David Lammy and the German Manager Gunter Sautter. According to information relayed by our colleagues from the Anadolu agency, it has been recognized that progress had been made in peace efforts, and the need for American leadership has also been confirmed.
“Ukraine is engaged in peace efforts and wants war to end as quickly as possible,” said Sybiha. He pointed out that kyiv had accepted an interim ceremony full of full on March 11 in Jeddah. “This must be done as quickly as possible,” he added, arguing for increased international pressure on Russia to achieve lasting peace.
The discussions also discussed long -term security guarantees and the future stages for the “volunteer coalition”. Sybiha, whose remarks were translated into French by Sanaa Amir, expressed his gratitude to France, Germany and the United Kingdom for their continuous support.
