Cooperation between Paris and Rabat turns out to be more necessary every day in this particular world situation, said on Tuesday the French political scientist and professor of law, Jérôme Besnard.
“Morocco has become the main economic and strategic ally of France in the Maghreb. This is a welcome development which benefits our two countries and which collects a large consent within the French political class”, added Besnard invited by the map to analyze the current dynamics of Morocco-French relations in the light of the intense diplomatic ballet, in recent weeks, between the two countries.
The French political scientist noted that this strengthening of the links between Morocco and France, “which also benefits from a broad consensus in the eyes of French opinion”, is part of the will of the two states to constitute a tandem in the service of peace and stability in the world.
French diplomacy has also praised Morocco’s commitment in multilateral enclosures on the challenges of peace, stability and development. Mr. Besnard was in this context congratulated by the “success” of the recent visit to Rabat of the Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau and that of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad, Nasser Bourita and who constitute a deadline among so many others on the way of the realization of the new chapter of the France-Morocco relationship.
