The UEMOA (GIM-UEMOA) and Verve International monetic interbank group announces the conclusion of a strategic partnership aimed at connecting their respective infrastructure. This agreement, focused on the operational interoperability of systems, marks a decisive step in the construction of an integrated, sovereign and inclusive regional financial .

As soon as it is implemented, this partnership will allow carriers of verve cards-the Nigerian domestic network-to access withdrawal services on all automatic counters connected to the GIM-UEMOA network, covering the eight member states of the . This deployment concretizes a shared ambition: extend the influence of their respective payment patterns across Africa, develop an ecosystem by establishing bridges with all existing payment instruments and create the conditions for a Regional monetary fluiditybased on interconnected infrastructure to support the evolution of banking uses on the continent.

This important step is based on the solid implantation of verve in more than 21 countries in Africa and its continuous growth, consistent with its Pan - expansion strategy. Thanks to partnerships with platforms like Google, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Facebook, Verve allows its carriers (card holders) simple access to digital content and services, establishing a bridge between fintech, lifestyle and innovation.
