The 2nd edition of the color challenges set for May 16
Initially postponed due to the weather conditions, the Color Challenge meeting will finally be held on Friday May 16, from 4:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Célestin Lalande stadium.
An event for a noble cause
Building on the success of its first edition, this charity event is back to support the efforts of the association “India and you, the children of Dehradun”. participants will be invited to outdo themselves in various sports activities such as football, basketball, athletics or the games offered by the toy library. The objective is to collect funds for the association which works for the well-being of disadvantaged children in India. For each challenge taken up, a donation of € 1 will be paid to the association, thus opening the door to all, athletes or not, to contribute to this cause.
This moment of solidarity is an opportunity for the municipality to mobilize not only young people attending local reception structures, but also their families, in favor of an international childish cause. The event also benefits from the essential support of several local sports associations, such as ESP Foot, the Tchac side of water (Ultimate Discipline), and Esco Pornichet (athletics).
In addition, refreshments and delicacies, offered by partner donors, will be sold on site. The recipes will be fully donated to the association, which will also be present to discuss and share with the participants.
The evening will end at 7 p.m. with a lap followed by a spectacular throwing of colors, marking the fence of this beautiful initiative.
