A wind turbine caught fire During the night of Monday 5 to Tuesday, May 6, 2025 around 11 p.m. in the town of Lafresguimont-Saint-Martin (between Poix-de-Picardie and Aumale), in the Somme.
27 dispatched firefighters
The Somme Alert Treatment Center (CTA) has been informed of the fire by receiving many calls.
A team of 27 firefighters quickly went therewith the support of the gendarmerie. A safety perimeter was then established and Interrupted traffic To avoid any overcotting.

The Enedis teams have secured the wind turbine by cutting the infrastructure’s power supply to eliminate any risk.
The cause of the fire remains unknown For the moment, an investigation is underway.
