What about P. Diddy’s trial?
The 55 -year -old rapper is accused of sex trafficking, pimping and racketeering. Incarcerated since last September in a detention center in Brooklyn, the producer risks life imprisonment.
Unlike the trial which opposed Johnny Depp to Amber Heard – a civil trial, led before a State Tribunal in Virginia – the decision to authorize or not the dissemination of the trial is taken on a case -by -case basis. And in this specific case, the authorization had been granted.
Nothing to do with the trial of P. Diddy, who will be tried before a federal court in Manhattan, for criminal acts.
And in accordance with the regulations of a federal court, the trial cannot therefore be a television or retransmitted live. Only images of the interior of the courtroom can be made by a designer on site. As for phones and cameras, their use is also prohibited.
The answer is therefore no!
