Intervening on this occasion, Talbi Alami put in evidence that common rooting in Africa constitutes a unique strategic space, conducive to a partnership based on a win-win logic, promoting economic development and exchange of . He stressed that Morocco and Mauritania occupy a key position as a pivotal actor between three geopolitical blocks, notably Africa, Europe and the Arab world, with a natural extension to Asia and Eurasia.

The president of the House of Representatives has thus reaffirmed that The process of Atlantic African States, initiated by King Mohammed VI, constitutes a highly ambitious approach and an essential base for continental African integration. He said that the increased strategic value of this process lies in its complementarity with the Integration of Nations Integration initiative in the Atlantic Ocean, also proposed by the Sovereign, in order to break the maritime isolation of certain African countries without access to the sea.

In addition, the manager has confirmed that Mauritania and Morocco are upon to play a decisive role in these two projects, which are carrying out a strategic dimension of international scope.

In this sense, Talbi Alami took the opportunity to call the two legislative chambers to support government projects and private sector initiatives in the two countries, by encouraging joint investments in order to meet the challenge of rise in power and mutual development.

In addition, the president of the first chamber of Parliament stressed that this first session of the Maurito-Moroccan economic parliamentary forum marks a decisive step in the deepening of bilateral relations, transcending material interests to strengthen fraternal and historical links between the two peoples.

He also recalled that, if political relations embody an exemplary model between two neighboring nations, and if cultural and human ties promote fraternal communication, then, on the economic, technological and services, these relationships still have considerable potential to exploit.
