It is a long -term judicial affair that has remained in the shadows. Four years after his disappearance, the reconstruction of the murder of the young agricultural technician of 22 years, from Aveyron, takes place Tuesday May 6, 2025 in the career in Peyrebrune, in the Tarn, where his body was discovered on June 26, 2023 buried under the rubble.

It all started in the fall of 2021. The young man’s mother reports his disappearance to the Rodez prosecution (Aveyron). Despite the investigations carried out by the gendarmes, no trace of the young agricultural technician is found for more than a year and a half. In the spring of 2023, an employee of Peyrebrune’s career, aged 21, revealed a heavy secret: his colleague, whom he hosted then, would have admitted to having killed the victim of a ball in the head. To support his statements, he shows him a short video of the execution, where the victim appears kneeling on the site before being slaughtered.
Following these revelations, the investigators identify and place in police custody the main suspect, aged 25, already incarcerated for another case. The first is indicted for “sequestration followed by death” and “concealment of theft”, the other for “assassination” and “theft” – in particular of the victim’s mobile phone. After long research, the body of the young Aveyronnais was finally found under the rubble of the career in June 2023, ending an unbearable expectation for his family.
The exact cause of the death is at the heart of this investigation by the Toulouse criminal center (Haute-Garonne). No formal evidence of a death by firearm had been established, despite the initial statements. The thesis of a dispute linked to a drug debt, advanced by the main suspect, is questioned by the investigators at the start of this case.
The video supposed to prove the execution has not been preserved, and the prolonged duration of burial of the body complicated forensic analyzes. Investigators seek to precisely reconstruct the facts and clarify the role of each of the indictments. This reconstruction must make it possible to see more clearly in the course of the event.
The family of the victim, represented by a lawyer Me Arnaud Cagnac, was a civil party and awaits responses on the exact circumstances of this drama. The lawyers of the different parties did not wish to communicate on this reconstruction.
