Here is the new Jeep Compass, the compact SUV with the Italian passport. Like the previous generation, it is indeed produced in the Melfi factory, alongside other novelties Stellantis such as the DS n ° 8 and the future Lancia Gamma, with which it shares the Stla Medium platform of the group.
A mechanical now tested – the same as that of the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, Opel Grandland and Citroën C5 Aircross – which brings an absolute novelty for the Jeep Compass: electric motors. But this is not the only option: like the other models, it will also be offered with a light and rechargeable hybrid powertrain.
Jeep COMPASS 2025: The exterior
The various teasers published in recent months had given some clues, without however providing enough elements to define the general lines of the new Jeep Compass. Honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect. A SUV, certainly, but how? The answer is: drawn in the jeep style. Square and vertical lines – a must for those who have the all -terrain inscribed in their genes – which evolve without upsetting the aspect of the previous generation. But, in my opinion, they improve it.
As always, the photos never do justice to a car and I like the Jeep Compass 2025. The front side with its seven closed and lit slits in the upper part (a stylistic touch reserved for the richest versions), the front optics (also available with rectangular LED matrix projectors and rear optics in the shape of “C”, with a horizontal light band that integrates the logo.
And then a series of winks, that is to say more or less small references to the Jeep universe: from the profile of the Willys on the jolling of the rims with the seven slots on the front air intakes, passing through the inscription “since 1941” on the sides of the dashboard.

Jeep Compass 2025: the interior
Difficult not to start with the 16 -inch central screen, protagonist inside the new Jeep Compass. He is noticed, even if it is (almost) discreet. This is due to its horizontal development which occupies the entire central part of the dashboard, protruding above the ventilation mouths.
Everything is there: browser, air conditioning, information on battery load, Android Auto, Apple Carplay, voice assistant, multimedia content. The Brain of the 2025 Compass is managed using always large sufficient screens and icons. But there is no shortage of physical controls, placed just below in a plastic table, divided in two by the rotor allowing to adjust the volume.
Next to it, we find the essential digital dashboard, located behind a redrawn steering wheel and now slightly square. Pleasant to hold, it also has physical keys. As the Euroncap wishes. The few commands located on the central tunnel are also physical: Select Land (standard on all versions), transmission selector and electrical parking brake. Optionally, the head-up display is available, which projects various information directly on the windshield.
Overall, it is a minimalist development, which is not flashy and does not try to impress, but which puts more on ease of use. Mission accomplished? By staying in the living room of the Stellantis style center, it is easy to answer yes, but only a test can give the final answer. The same goes for general quality, especially since the model seen in real life was a pre-series.

CHAPTER Espace: The increased dimensions go hand in hand with improved habitability and the rear is comfortable, thanks to the regular design of the bench and the absence of a central tunnel. The trunk has an increased volume, with a minimum capacity of 550 liters, and it is possible to “play” with the configuration thanks to the foldable rear files according to a 40:20:40 diagram.
Jeep Compass 2025: Motors and technology
The real revolution of the Jeep Compass 2025 however lies in what it hides under the hood. first of all, the Stla Medium platform already mentioned, designed to accommodate electrified and electric engines. No more pure thermal motors.
The offer begins with the light hybrid system of 145 hp and 230 Nm of torque, associated exclusively with the front traction. It promises a range of 907 km, all by consuming gasoline, except on short journeys at reduced speed, when only the electric motor propels the SUV, with emissions of 135 g/km.
We then go to the 195 hp plug-in engine and 350 Nm of torque, with an electric motor operating in tandem with the 1.6 petrol engine or alone, depending on the conditions, and a 19 kWh battery. The total autonomy declared is 770 km, including 83 in electric mode. Also in this case, the traction is only before.

The only all -wheel drive version of the Jeep Compass is the electric version of 375 hp.
Now let’s go to electric motors. There are three, with a power of 210, 230 or 375 hp. The first version is equipped with a 74 kWh battery for an autonomy of 500 km, while the other two adopt 96 kWh accumulators which promise 650 and 600 km of autonomy respectively with a single recharge. It should be recalled that these values are calculated according to the WLTP cycle and that it is necessary to withdraw around 20 %.
The most powerful Jeep Compass 2025 is also the only one to offer all -wheel drive, with a second engine – specially developed for it – coupled with the rear axle. It therefore does not derive from the other models based on the STLA Medium, which also translates into a superior total power. It also benefits from aesthetic and technical innovations which improve its specific angles (28 ° attack, 30 ° output and 16 ° ramp) with a ground clearance of 20 cm and a capacity of passage to 48 cm.

The lighting of the upper part of the seven slots will be standard on the richest versions.
Regarding the recharging of the electric compass, an 11 kW on -board charger by alternating current is standard, a 22 kW charger is available as an option, while in direct current, we reach 190 kW.
The level 2 driving assistance equipment is complete, including an adaptive cruise control, an active trajectory support system, several cameras and much more.

Jeep Compass 2025, the prices
Regarding the prices of the new Jeep Compass, the list has not yet been communicated, but we know that the light hybrid version in the basic version should cost less than 40,000 euros, while the electric version with all -wheel drive will exceed 50,000 euros.
