Only a few days ago, Nintendo had deployed a major update for its current range of consoles. Version 20.0.0 notably brought the addition of virtual game cards as well as an avatars update. Now the Firmware 20.0.1 is already available following encountered by many players making the console unusable.

If, like many players around the , update 20.0.0 has blocked your Nintendo Switch and its use, Nintendo has already deployed a fix. Indeed, the firmware 20.0.1 corrects the codes Error 2206-1014 or 2206-1015 which simply prevented access to the menu of its console and which led to an immediate stop of the system. Nintendo took the opportunity to broadcast a rescue procedure, useful for all the players who have had this blocking problem:

  • Make sure the console is off.
  • Once the console is turned off, hold the increase (+) and reduced (-) pimpment pimples, then press the Power button to the console.
    • Make sure you keep the volume buttons sunk until the catering mode menu appears.
  • Once the catering mode is console, select update the console and follow the screen instructions to complete the process.
    • If a Parental Control Deputy Code has been defined on the console, you will be invited to grasp it. If you the secret code, you must reset it.
