On April 30, 2025, around 10:40 p.m., the firefighters were alerted. A traffic accident was reported to them in Drulhe, a commune north of Aveyron, in the Decazevillois basin.
The firefighters quickly intervened at a place called La Bernarderie. According to the first observations on the site, the driver, aged 61, struck a tree. No other vehicle would have been affected by the accident.
In “a serious state”
In order to extract the motorist from his vehicle, the emergency services had to proceed with an extrication. Then, with regard to his state, the victim “was helicoptered to the Toulouse hospital, it was serious,” said the communication of the firefighters.
