“Conscious rap”
The Blanko, which has explored rap for 10 years, claims to be of the current of “conscious rap”:
For me, music is freedom of expression. Some need a shrink, I need music to express myself. I try to do something serious, with text, making an effort on my speech to remain understandable. This is how we can attract people who do not like rap a priori. The shooting of this clip was a beautiful moment for me.
