After eight years in Cube Entertainment, Jinho officially turned the page. The main singer of Pentagon put an end to his contract with the agency which saw him begin in 2016.
This announcement comes in a context already hectic for the group. In 2023, several members, including Yeo One, Yan An, Wooseok, Kino, Hongseok and Yuto, had chosen not to renew their contract. Now, only Hui and Shinwon are still linked to Cube.

On April 15, Cube Entertainment published a press release in which she thanks the fans for their loyalty and detailed this decision. “After long discussions with Jinho, we agreed to end our exclusive contract from April 14, 2025.”
The agency also praised the artist’s journey. “Since his beginnings, Jinho has shown immense talent, whether as the group’s main singer or solo. We are grateful to everything he has accomplished and we will continue to support him in his future projects. »»

Jinho marked the story of Pentagon by his voice and his stage presence. In addition to his role within the group, he also distinguished himself in several solo projects and was often praised for his vocal technique and his ease on stage.
Even if the majority of members left Cube, the group did not officially separate. In 2023, the boys had assured universes that they would continue their activities, despite the changes. Currently, the group is on break.

Yeo One and Shinwon are both in military service, respectively until September and November. A complete Pentagon return is therefore possible for the end of the year, once everyone has completed their obligations.
For their part, fans continue to send messages of support to Jinho, impatient to discover his new record company. His future in the industry remains promising, and many hope that he will pursue an active solo career.
