South Korean soldiers recently voted for artists they would like to see perform.
The newspaper of the Ministry of National Defense, Kookbang Ilbo, recently carried out a survey of the soldiers, in order to ask them “What stars would they like to see during a concert for the army. »»
The survey was carried out from April 4 to 17, 2025 to 309 soldiers.
Among the soldiers who participated in the survey, it is aespa leading with 18.1 % of votes.
Among the answers explaining this choice, the soldiers notably expressed: “The simple fact of seeing them gives me strength”et “Their songs and their performances comfort me enormously. »»
Soldier Kim notably said: “When the times were tough and tiring, I thought of Karina de Aespa and I surmounted them. It made me want to work harder to protect our country for Karina, who also breathes in this same country. »» Soldier Cheon added: “When I think of Aespa, I work harder in all areas. »»
In second position of the survey, we find fromis_9 with 16.2% of votes.
According to the soldiers who expressed themselves, the group’s songs are particularly pleasant to listen to during physical training and the steps. Some also find that the user -friendly image and radiant energy of the group transmit comfort and empathy.
Sergeant Bae Mo notably said: “I finished walking thinking of the songs of Frois_9. Even today, they are a source of comfort and energy when I go through a difficult period. »»
-In third position, we then find the singer IUwith 6.5% of votesquoted in particular thanks to its recent roles on television which marked the soldiers a lot.
In fourth place, it is IVE that we find, with 6,1%. One of the most popular girlgroups of the new generation, Ive is therefore ranking in the top 5. Among the reasons mentioned, the presence of Yujin and Jang Wonyoung in the group was one of the main factors, many soldiers in the survey having revealed to be actively part of the Fandom of one of the two members.
Finally, to complete the survey, fifth place in the top 5 returns to NMIXXthe group of Jyp Entertainment acclaimed by 4.9% of votes. Their songs are mentioned as large sources of comfort.
