Somyi has signed in a new agency.
Having become streamer, the former Dia member had filed a complaint against the CEO of his agency, accusing him of having tried to rape it in January 2023. If you remember this case, we had already heard of it at the end of 2023, with the announcement that an ex-idol was accused of having brought false accusations against the CEO of his agency. The ex-Idol in question was therefore Somyi, who belonged to the Dia group.
The young woman’s complaint was rejected, but she appealed, and a new investigation took place. However, this new investigation did not take place as she hoped, because the police got their hands on a surveillance video as long as they describe as an attempted assault on the part of the CEO. The video in question shows Somyi and the CEO come out of a room calmly by discussing, at the alleged moment of the facts. On another surveillance video, we can see Somyi entering into the building and coming to herself embed the CEO, videos which thus tell a completely different story than that told by Somyi according to which she was just fucked up while he was pursuing her and tried to attack her.
According to the accusation, Somyi preferred her false accusations to try to force the CEO to break up with his girlfriend of the time. Somyi’s lawyer said she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the facts and that she was therefore unable to make good decisions. In March 2024, the Court of Seoul then returned her verdict in this case against her, and Somyi was sentenced to a sentence of a year and a half in prison for these false accusations.
Recently, the young woman finished serving her sentence, and was therefore released from prison.
And in the wake of its outing, we learn that she signed at MBK (Moden Berry Korea), who unveiled photos of Somyi profile and who presents it as a “new artist”.
-MBK told the media 10asia: “Somyi is an artist who draws attention thanks to her constant growth and her unique presence. She is currently studying various content and activities opportunities. »»
But she is not only going to be an artist, because the agency will entrust him with the creation and production of a new boygroup.
The company said: “Somyi will participate in all aspects of the project to launch a new boygroup, including musical production, conceptual planning and visual management. »»
