What can the public expect for this second edition of the Re-Animator festival?
We have ten groups per day, spread over two scenes: the leather Moustage and the Macumba Stage. On Thursday, we will start with punk tones, Friday will be rather oriented towards hardcore metal and Saturday will mix classic metal and rock. We have bet on musicians from all walks of life, with very different but assertive styles. For example, the Komodor group, from Douarnenez, will offer rock from the 60s. We can also quote Magoyong, a very offbeat alternative metal group which already has a good reputation. Master Boot Record offers a little geek electronic sounds.
How many people are you waiting for?
last year, during our first edition, we received 1,300 people over the three days. This year, we hope to reach 2,000 or even 2,500 metal enthusiasts present. Thursday day is currently working, but there are still places. Note, however, that we had some last -minute changes: the Digresk group replaces Nytt Land and the Moonreich group replaces sacramentum.
Beyond the concerts, are entertainment planned?
Of course ! First, Friday evening will take place a fire show, produced by the Libellune company. Then, throughout the three days will be held several contests: Air Group (the guitar air, air drums or low air consists in mimicking the gesture of a musician without having the instrument in hand, editor’s note), Head Banging (dance consisting of quick movements of the head rhythm with music, editor’s note) and several singing competitions, including a cry of pig. We also plan a Pogo Battle, and a free fresco for children. For the decoration, we have a partnership with the Naya Museum in Rochefort-en-Terre, which will install on the site of the Dark Erotic Fantasy sculptures.
