Levi added that the entry of the documentary in the Video Prime catalog would allow him to meet a global demand that does not weaken.
“It has been almost 18 months now that we lived this terrible day, but with the 59 hostages that are still detained and the images of the attacks of October 7 which remain engraved in the collective memory, ‘#nova’ is more than ever an important, unique, essential film,” she added.
“Not only does he show the brutal beginning of this war, but it also shows different points of view outside of any journalistic or other narrative aim. These are real-time images by people who have experienced these moments and who show the reality of what happened during this festival. It is a solid testimony of the events that happened that day. »»
It took less than two months to Israeli filmmaker Dan Peer to create this eminently raw and painful documentary on the pogrom of October 7.
Produced by Kastina Communications for Yes, the film is made of images filmed by some of the 3,000 festival-goers as well as by the terrorists of Hamas determined to kill them.
It is a deep and trying dive in the chaotic and terrifying hours of the pogrom during which more than 350 festival -goers were killed and dozens of other attacked and hostage in Gaza – among these, 14 came back alive, 17 were murdered.
“I want him to be seen by all adults, all over the world,” explains Peer Times of Israel. “It is a film that shows the holocaust that took place there. »»
It was a Herculean task for Peer, who directed this film on a voluntary basis during the first two weeks of the war, creating profiles of the missing using the photos and videos recovered on their social networks, in order to identify them.

“#Nova” uses exclusive images shot by festival-goers to report, minute per minute, the tragic events of that day, when the Hamas terrorists killed and kidnapped en masse.
In total, more than 1,200 people were killed during the Pogrom which also touched civil communities and military bases, a balance sheet to which are added the 251 hostages removed to be sequestrated in Gaza.
