A few months before the start of filming, scheduled for this summer, the HBO series dedicated to the universe of Harry Potter has unveiled part of its distribution.
As announced a few weeks ago in the Hollywood specialized press, it was the actor John Lithgow who was chosen to defend the role of Albus Dumbledore.
Janet McTeer will slip into the shoes of Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu will play the disturbing Severus Rogue and Nick Frost will lend his features to the nice giant Rubeus Hagrid.
Luke Thallon (in the role of Quirrell Quirrell) and Paul Whitehouse (Argus Rusard) will also be part of the distribution.

32,000 children auditioned
The names of the young actors who will defend Harry’s characters, Hermione and Ron have not yet been revealed, but we know that more than 32,000 children have auditioned for the roles.
Recall that the filming of this suitable series of the popular Literary Saga of JK Rowling will begin next summer, in the studios of Warner Bros. From Leavesden, north of London, where the first film Harry Potter was shot in the early 2000s.
Produced by Warner Bros., the series, which is expected to get off on several seasons, will be broadcast on the HBO channel from 2026 or 2027.
