Ludovic Moreau, 43, died on 1^is May in the Cher, in an accident during an motorcycle outing of the Indian club of the United Bikers in which he participated with his association Les Motards Unis. A brutal and incomprehensible death, both for his relatives and for all the members of associations that rubbed shoulders with him.

The forties, an employee for eighteen years in the Fradet company, in Villedieu-sur-Indre, was not only a member of a motorcycle club. “All his hobbies were for his family and sports”sums up his father, Joël Moreau. The bereaved man can doubly talk about it: he founded the Berry’s paraplaine club in Levroux, where Ludovic was a monitor. “He started the ascending parachute at 9 and a half with me and at 12, he was champion of France. The forties accumulated sports. He had thus joined the Judo club in Villedieu-sur-Indre, with his family, and resumed an activity that he had started at the age of 6. And with his family, he had invested in the life of the club. The man had always circulated in two-wheelers. “He had started from learning, on a small 50 cm³. » In recent months, behind the wheel of his red fazer, the man was recognized thanks to his red plush from the Disney character, Stitch. “He always had it with him, it was a gift from his family”explains the president of the united bikers, Isabelle Robinet.

Plush on board and vest on his back, Ludovic Moreau had quickly joined the association of united bikers that Isabelle Robinet founded in October 2024 in Buxières-d’Aillac. “Ludo immediately took his membership. »» Again, the mission given by the association sticks to the character that his relatives describe: participate in the good causes, help to supervise motorcycle walks. “He was available for everyone!” »» summarizes his father.

Ludovic Moreau had celebrated his 43 years in April and was the father of 5 children, aged 8 to 20. The bikers wanted to support the family. “With the agreement of his wife, we are in charge of organizing the whole motorcycle side”explains Isabelle Robinet. A procession of bikers is thus planned, from 9:30 am, Thursday May 15, in front of the church of Villedieu-sur-Indre, during its funeral. The association will also manage a donation urn, in response to multiple requests received, to support the family. The bikers who wish can then accompany him to the crematorium of Cré, in Châteauroux, where a hedge of honor will be made to him.
