The facts occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 3 in the town of Taglio-Isolaccio.
Shortly after 10 p.m., firefighters were called for an accident involving a car and a motorcycle on RT 10, at the level of the place called Ficajola.
Two people were injured and transported to the Bastia hospital center.
The state of health of one of the two victims required its transfer to the Dragon 2B, the civil security helicopter. The second injured person was evacuated to Falconaja with the VSAB of the firefighters.
On site, an important device was deployed by the emergency services with several vehicles of the firefighters of the Cervione and Lucciana barracks. A doctor and a nurse were also present.
On RT 10, the gendarmes regulated the circulation which was disturbed during the intervention.
For the time being, the exact circumstances of this accident remain unknown.
