Upon returning from the locker room, Tunisia quickly equalized thanks, reviving the match. A first place for Morocco meant to face the second in group A (Egypt, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania), while a second place would have opposed it to the second in group C.
Despite this equalization, the Atlas lion cubs intensified their efforts. The meeting remained disputed, the Moroccan defense showing itself solid in the face of Tunisian attempts.
