This university was preceded by days “ house », From April 21 to 24, dedicated to the and presentation of the association’s achievements in the field of popular as well as its commitment to social struggles and popular movements.

The Printemps University was a for expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people and the rejection of normalization. This theme was at the heart of the inaugural , held on April 25 under the title: “ More solidarity with the Palestinian people against Zionism: intensions the fight against standardization ».

The opening conference brought together Mohamed Allouch, secretary of the of the Palestinian workers’ struggle, Soumaya Bouabdellah, member of the BDS movement, as well as Younes El Haboussi of the Attac Maroc association.

Environ 100 participant·e·s attended the event, which has been a significant media moment. The University offered a space for the exchange of experiences and ideas through two workshops organized on Saturday, April 26, in which around 50 people participated. The workshop was focused on supporting women’s struggles on the of popular movements in Morocco. He brought together representatives of the Hirak of Figuig against the privatization of oasis water resources, workers from the Sicomec factory for months against abusive dismissals and for their fundamental , as well as agricultural workers from Chtouka Aït Baha claiming better and the stability of employment. These are clear examples of the resistance of women in the face of neoliberal policies, and their resilience despite the repression.

The second workshop focused on the destruction of public services in the health and education sectors. It was held in the presence of representatives of the student movement·e·s in medicine, pharmacy and dental medicine, mobilized to defend the public, free and quality of training, as well as the coordination of teachers·e·s dit·e·s « contractual·the·s », In the fight against the contractualization system and for the defense of the public service.

The discussions highlighted the close link between normalization with Zionism and neoliberal policies. They underlined the need to unify the struggles against normalization and the mobilizations in the defense of public services, while working to develop a popular feminist movement organized and rooted in the struggles.

Fight against standardization

  • Strengthen involvement in all forms of solidarity with the Palestinian people and rejection of normalization in all areas, highlighting the link with the various social struggles and popular movements in in our country.

Support for women’s struggles

  • Create a space for coordination between the various women’s struggle experiences, and strengthen communication bridges as well as solidarity mechanisms (caravans, material support campaigns, etc.).
  • Develop media campaigns dedicated to highlighting women’s struggles and expanding solidarity towards them in the press, on websites, social networks, etc.
  • To face the ideological offensive against women through a popular education which aims to raise awareness of the roots of their oppression, to analyze the reality of their exploitation (eg domestic workers), and to propose targeted training on legal and other aspects.

Resistance to the destruction of public services

  • Expand our claims in terms of public services (for example, access to drinking water or school transport services), forms of defense (struggle, legal action, etc.), as well as their strategic horizon (free, quality of public services, and implementation of popular control).
