The organization in of major sports events will stimulate development dynamics in all the regions concerned, said, on Thursday, April 17 in Rabat, the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, and president of the Royal Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa.

Speaking at the end of a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior dedicated to the evaluation of the of construction and rehabilitation of stadiums in the six host cities of the Cup of Nations (CAN-2025), Mr. Lekjaa stressed that the organization of large-scale sports events aims to stimulate development dynamics at the level of the regions concerned and to the economy, Moroccans to take full advantage of the direct benefits of such sports deadlines.

He also specified that the meeting made it possible to take stock of the progress of the preparations in progress for the organization of the CAN-2025, and to learn about the degree of preparation of the regions to accommodate large sporting events which will be crowned by the co-organization of the 2030 World Cup.

This meeting was also an opportunity to ensure that the sites are advancing to the expected rate and that all of the sports infrastructure in the regions concerned will be ready before the scheduled deadlines, the challenge being to organize these events under exemplary conditions, up to the international influence of the Kingdom, he noted.

Took part in this meeting the Minister of the Interior, the Walis and Presidents of the Casablanca – Settat, Rabat – Kénitra, Tanger – Tétouan -Al Hoceïma, Fès – Meknès, – Safa and Souss – Sas – Massa, Agadir.

Also participated in the Directors General of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT), the National Railway Office (ONCF), the National Office of Airports (ONDA) and the National Society for Morocco Highway (ADM), the Chairman of the Management Board of the National Society for the Production and Management of Sports Equipment (Sonarges) and the Director General (Anep).
