The coach of the U17 Morocco of football Morocco, Nabil Baha, said on Thursday in Casablanca, that his players have the will and the desire to write history by being the first lion cubs of the Atlas to win the African Cup of the category and keep the trophy at home.

“There are several factors that come into play during a match of the importance of a CAN final, but the players are motivated and they want to enter the history of Moroccan football”underlined Baha at a press conference before the final against Mali, scheduled for Saturday at the El Bachir stadium in Mohammedia, from 3:00 p.m.

“We have prepared ourselves well to face Mali in a match that will be played on details, like physical freshness”he said, adding that“There is some pressure on us because the public is waiting for this final and especially the continental coronation”.

“We have considered all the scenarios against Mali, a team used to reaching the last square of continental competitions”said the Moroccan coach.

“I asked the players to take pleasure first and then implement the mechanisms that allowed us to win the previous games against Mali and improve what must be”he said.

“We are ready to play this match whatever the schedule”he said about the change in the match schedule from 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

And add that “The team that adapts the faster is more likely to win”.

“We know our opponent well. We know its best elements, its game system, as well as its shortcomings ”said Nabil Baha, noting that “Mali has very good players” et “We expect a difficult match, but the important thing is to stay focused and play well throughout the game”he said again.

The central defender of the Morocco team, Adam Sudi, said, for his part, indicated that “The group is looking forward to playing this final which is a dream for all of us”.

“We are ready to face Mali by giving the best of ourselves to win”he said.

Mali coach Adama Diallo, said “The main objective was to go as far as possible in the competition”.

“Playing the final is one thing, winning it is another”he argued. “It is an important match for us and we will give everything to win the victory”he hammered.
