The Ministry of Digital Transition and the Reformation of the Administration (MTNRA) and the Glovo Technological Company formalized, as part of the 3rd edition of the Gitex Africa in Marrakech, a partnership for the organization of MED Startup Connect 2030, scheduled for next October in Casablanca.
The objective of this event is to strengthen synergies between technological actors in the Mediterranean region and to promote Morocco as a destination of choice for technological investment. The MED Startup Connect 2030 is also part of the preparations for the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co -organize with Spain and Portugal.

Thanks to its presence in these three countries, Glovo intends to mobilize its expertise to facilitate regional cooperation and attract the attention of European capital funds to the potential of the Moroccan digital fabric. The event will offer panels, collaborative workshops and networking sessions between startups and investors, in particular between the co -organizers of the World Cup.

This partnership is a continuation of an already started collaboration between Glovo and MTNRA. In September 2024, the Glovo Startup Lab had allowed nine Moroccan entrepreneurs to benefit from personalized support at the company’s headquarters in Barcelona.
