“The global aeronautical industry is currently experiencing an extraordinary increase in the demand for air travel and reaches record levels, both national and internationally,” said Masterflex CEO Andreas Bastin, quoted in a press release. To cope with this request, the German piping giant decided to pursue its expansion policy and settle in Morocco. “The quality of the training, the high level of the workforce, the strict respect for quality processes and standards, but also geographic proximity and overall costs-it is all these factors that have convinced us to choose Morocco as another production site, after in-depth international research,” he adds.

The future Masterflex factory in Morocco will be based in the Midparc free zone, near Casablanca, and will be under the Matzen & Timm brand, the specialist in aerospace applications, informs the press release. “Like all our sites, the new company will be certified accordingly, and the validation of products specifically intended for the aerospace sector will continue to be in close collaboration with our customers”, reassures Peter Bremer, Managing Director of Matzen & Timm. If everything takes place as planned, customers will be able to stock up on molded pieces, bellows and pipes “designed in Germany, made in Morocco”, from 2026, the note concluded.
