The third edition of the Gitex Africa Morocco, held from April 14 to 16 in Marrakech, was a favorite field for young innovative companies, of which 800 startups from various countries have made the trip, which testifies to their crucial role in the development and democratization of technology.
For these startups, of which 260 are Moroccan, this unmissable meeting of digital and innovation constitutes a golden opportunity to present their innovative projects and ideas and to highlight their potential and know-how in various areas related to artificial intelligence and data sciences.
Engaged in favor of the development of Moroccan startups and their connection to global technological ecosystems to promote their international growth, the Ministry of Digital Transition and the Reform of the Administration recently launched the “Morocco 200” initiative that has enabled 200 young companies selected to benefit from a subsidized participation in the Africa Morocco Gitex.
Aiming to promote the internationalization of Moroccan and foreign startups and to energize their presence on the global technological scene, this major digital and innovation fair, has held all its promises by promoting synergies between startups and public sectors, investors, entrepreneurs and digital leaders.
This is the case of the young Moroccan company AI-School, a concept of e-learning which offers online courses, but also training with technologies such as 3D printing and virtual reality.
“Our objective is to democratize artificial intelligence and to be able to develop it so that it is accessible to a maximum possible social and entrepreneurial categories and in different languages,” said MAP, Aamr Ait El Harraj, responsible for this startup, adding that young Moroccans are definitely committed to contributing to the dynamics started in Morocco to support and support young companies acting in digital.
-“The idea is to benefit from artificial intelligence and digital technologies to design intelligent cities oriented towards the future or develop several trades, such as medicine, engineering or robotics, in order to improve the quality of life of citizens and administration services”, according to Ait El Harraj, developer of IA and 3D solutions.
For the manager of this young company, participation in the Gitex Africa Morocco is an opportunity to have more visibility and to build contacts and partnerships with professionals and investors.
“This important show encourages us to continue working to develop our offers and presenting itself next year to this event with new technologies and new solutions,” he said.
Anxious to internationalize its services in an increasingly plural ecosystem, the French start-up “Nellapp” also participates in the Gitex Africa Morocco to explore new prospects for collaboration and partnership.
“Nellapp is an e-learning platform created to facilitate learning learning. Thanks to personalized support we help training organizations in the development and dissemination of their online content,” said her boss, Mickaël Micucci.
“Our first objective is to help schools and training organizations to digitize and follow learners, but also to give access to learners’ content and educational media,” he explained.
