WWE announced the AAA acquisition during the Wrestlemania 41 weekend. The project is simple, bring AAA to another level in Mexico and organize AAA X WWE shows in addition to making talent exchanges.
Today, the ‘Super Luchas’ ‘journalist’ Ernesto Ocampo announced that the TKO group has already signed a first list of AAA wrestlers. In this list would appear Alberto del Rio, El Hijo de Wagner, Hijo del Vikingo, La Parka, La Hiedra, Lady Flammer, Lady Maravilla and Niño Hamburguesa with the aim of signing exclusively between 10 and 15 stars.
Following this announcement, Lucha Blog and other Catch media quickly responded to the news by specifying that according to their information, these signatures would not yet be carried out. WWE would still have not offered new contracts to the AAA wrestlers mentioned.
-It should not be forgotten that the sale of the AAA will finalize and activate in the third quarter of 2025. It would therefore be surprising to see the TKO group generate expenses for the AAA when the purchase is not fully finalized.
A file that will be monitored since it should not be forgotten that Alberto del Rio is still champion AAA, which means that for the moment, it is by default of the acquisition between WWE and AAA. A file that makes a lot of react given its problematic past to WWE or its accusations of violence against women.
