On June 25, Warner Bros will release the film “F1”. The title is quite simply this one and, as some of you may already know, it deals with the world of Formula 1 through the history of an imaginary team, called “APXGP”, with the particularity that filming was carried out during real Formula 1 races around the world.
The director is Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), assisted by producers Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner (Plan B) and Lewis Hamilton (Dawn Apollo Films). The film was made in collaboration with Formula 1, the ten teams, the FIA and the organizers of the GP. The main players are Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, and the official promotional partner of Apple Original Films and Warner Bros Pictures is Mercedes-AMG.
The German manufacturer supported the team with the expertise of its F1 team, as well as high -performance vehicles and sports models from its current range. Outside the track, a SL, a class G and a GT appear in the film. Safety cars and official Mercedes-AMG FIA F1 medical cars were also provided and used in the film. Yesterday, on the occasion of the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, Mercedes-AMG presented in preview the AMG GT 63 4Matic+ APXGP Edition, a special series limited to 52 copies.
How is it designed?
The AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ “APXGP Edition” pays homage to the imaginary APXGP team with an exclusive livery, painted by hand, enhanced with golden touches on the grille, the wings, the skirts, the bumpers and the diffuser. The forged AMG rims of 21 inch in matt gold and the black brake calipers of the carbonic system complete the sporting look.
Outside, the AMG aerodynamic pack in carbon fiber, the panoramic roof, the fixed rear spoiler and the Night Package II with black chrome finishes are distinguished. The AMG tank cap in silver chrome adds an additional exclusivity key.

The cabin is embellished with AMG performance in NAPPA leather and microfiber performance with golden stitching, inserts in carbon fiber intertwined with golden threads, a heating steering wheel, lit door thresholds, dedicated floor mats and a numbered badge “Limited Edition 1 of 52”.
The standard equipment includes: a 1,170 Watts Burmester 3D audio system, a 360 ° camera, a head -up display, driving aid systems, AMG Track Pace, a front lift, room lighting and Energizing Packs. A personalized protective cover is also included to protect this jewel in your garage.
