Since 2016, AUTUA has gathered amateur and passionate collectors around an exhibition, cars and exceptional motorcycles, an elegance competition labeled French federation of period vehicles and a charity gala. Autau is an event engaged around the theme “Mobility and disability”, supports associations organizing sports and fun activities: ski armchair, dreams of clouds. More than 62 000 euros have already been collected and have made it possible to contribute to the purchase of ski equipment for stations from the Alpes-du-Sud, to the financing of more than 300 baptisms of air and to equitherapy courses.
The Méhari Club Partner
After the MUCEM, the Palais du Pharo, the 8th AUTAU edition, authentic Automobiles in partnership with the City of Cassis, the Tourist Office and the Méhari Club de Cassis will be held on Saturday May 10 on Esplanades Aristide-Briand and Charles-de-Gaulle. The public will be able to discover 80 exceptional vehicles from 1924 to 1990, some of which will participate in the elegance competition as well as the exceptional DSBallon, mechanical sculpture exhibited in Paris in early 2025 for the 70th anniversary of the Citroën DS.
Friday, May 9 there will be a guided tour of the workshops of the 2 CV Méhari Club. Lovers of exceptional historic vehicles will be able to attend the charity of the Retrocker event “Exhibition, conference and elegance competition”. Saturday, May 10: from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., vehicle exhibition in the presence of craftsmen and artists around the Auto Universe and Collection Motorcycles (Free Entrance). At 10 am: Conference “70 years of the DS” with François Allain (auditorium of the calendal outta), at 11:45 am: 2 -wheeled parade and Vespa, and 3 pm: elegance competition in vintage outfits led by François Allain (paid entrance: 10 euros for the benefit of associations supported by AUTUTA: Dreams of Gosses and Ski Armchair), then, to end the day, at 5.30 pm: FFVVE (French federation of period vehicles). The evening will be closed by prior reservation by a charity gala and a fireworks display on the esplanade subject to favorable weather conditions.
