In this year 2025, the big Lego collector’s vessel honor in Jango Fett, the most charismatic of the bonus hunters in the universe Star Wars. The detailed and imposing product is pleasant to assemble. Perfect for the day “May the Force”.
LEGO collectors fans of Star Wars Know it for a long time: each year, the Danish firm wants their wallet by multiplying the products which reproduce the scenes, the vessels and the flagship characters of their adored universe. In 2025, on the occasion of May 4 (May the 4th, “May the Force”), Lego puts a set for sale seeking to honor a charismatic character: Jango Fett.
For € 300 and some 3,000 rooms, you can have fun assembling your vessel to the shape reminiscent of an iron. A nice wink to the glorious marriage between Lego and Star Wars Since in 2015, already, you could afford that of Boba Fett – which is exactly the same, but with slightly different colors. The price is substantial, but is explained by its integration into the UCS range (Ultimate Collector Series), dedicated to more detailed and ambitious models in the catalog. Suffice to say that it is a real exhibition model, with fairly imposing dimensions (19 x 39 x 44 cm).

In Lego, Jango Fett’s ship is very pretty
Before getting to the heart of the matter, it is important to recall that Lego obviously respects Disney’s decision not to name this emblematic “Slavic 1” vessel, for reasons of more family positioning and a meaning that can be risky (slave = slave). Instead, we have the right to the name “Fire Firespray vessel”, with Jango Fett for owner (Boba Fett will recover it when he died, in episode 2 of the prelogy).

With an inventory of 3,000 pieces, this Firespray vessel gives it for its money. first observation: LEGO designers offer a very faithful reproduction and, above all, recognizable at the first glance, in the form as in the color code (the touches of blue and green are there). Once again, we can appreciate how Lego endeavors to respect the general pace. The multinational knows how to make magic: the addition of mainly square parts can well make circles. As we fill the stages, it’s always so impressive.
In any case, we have taken a lot of pleasure in building this Jango Fett vessel, which starts from a very solid base, made up of elements borrowed from the Technics (more sharp) range, on which the decorations are grafted. The atypical form of the LEGO force force to conceive ingenious subterfuges to avoid vacuum areas and holes of the cabin, subterfuges which sometimes require a little fingering (which means that the assembly can prove to be a little complex for a younger audience). Up close, we can come across a few flaws that betray the limits of the Lego format. But, by far, the illusion is perfect.

Lego even allowed itself a few sweets, such as the access hatch which brings a little playability, the wings which automatically rotate according to the position of the vessel or the canons which are oriented at the same time (they are linked). There is even a removable cockpit, which can be exposed aside if necessary, or even the void-7 sonic load-an overpowered space bomb that Firespray can drop from the rear to surprise its enemies. There are therefore two small hatches to get it out. It is a detail that we forget when the ship sits proudly on a piece of furniture (the support for it to hold “standing” is supplied), but which has the merit of being there and which gives a little more consistency to construction (with tasty Eggs).

As always, and we will not stop repeating it, it is a shame to see LEGO rely a little too much on the stickers to dress the ship. Especially when it comes to creating color deviations or decorating the sublime – and immense – canopy of the cockpit. There are around twenty, which is a lot for a luxury product at 300 €. Beyond the concerns of alignment which harm the finish (if they are asked badly), there is the question of sustainability and Lego would be well inspired to end its stickers in its expensive and doomed sets at the exhibition.
On the other hand, collectors are not likely to afford Jango Fett’s ship for its figurines. There are only two: Jango Fett, of course, and Boba Fett, when he is young (reminder: it is not the son of Jango, but a clone which ages normally, unlike those who will become soldiers of the Republic). Jango Fett’s figurine clearly stands out: the buffer applied to the chest, arms, legs and helmet is very successful, and everything is there to honor it (the jetpack, the viewfinder of the helmet, the two blasters). That of Boba Fett is more disappointing, in comparison, and we feel that Lego has trampled as far as it is concerned (only the torso and the face are buffer). Too bad, such a set would have deserved two beautiful figurines, which can take two places in the cockpit.
