The Saperlipopette festival returns for its 26th edition with the same promise: Offer the youngest their meeting with the performing arts.

Thought as a gateway to theater, dance, circus and music, Saperlipopette is an invitation to cultural awakening, sharing, discovering the through the arts. In two days, several shows, workshops and performances will lead the Parc de la Cité European theater – Domaine d’O.

Among the highlights of this edition, “I’m too green”, A creation by David Lescot presented by the Kaïros company, extends the adventures of“ Me ”, a college student already crossed in the shows“ I am too scary ”and“ I have too many friends ”. After having overcome the into sixth, this episode follows him during a green . With humor, the piece explores the small and large fears linked to the group and the unknown. The show will be played at the Jean-Claude Carrière Theater, at Domaine d’O in Montpellier, Saturday May 3 and May 4, at 10.45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

In a completely different register, “Taking earth”, Proposed by the Compagnie Poisson Soluble, summons clay, material and gesture. The scene hosts a Burlesque duo, one large and clumsy, the other precise and right, which models puppets from raw soil. From their hands are born hybrid figures, between animal and human, in a silent ballet which questions our relationship to the planet. This speech without speech, both poetic and absurd, will be presented to the domain of the May 3 and 4 at 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m..

Another highlight of the weekend, “Prelude”choreographed by Kader Attou for the ACRARAP companyoffers an experience where hip-hop dance merges with a precise choreographic writing. On the music of Romain Dubois, a rhythmic and melodic crescendo maintains a continuous tension. The bodies of the dancers vibrate in unison with this raw energy. The spectator is invited to a sensory trip, as in apnea, until a final release.“Prélude” will be presented at the O amphitheater, at the D domain in Montpellier, Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4 at 12:00 p.m.
