Very worried for several days, the host of Radio Contact has found her cat thanks to the solidarity of her subscribers.
After several days of anxiety, Maria Del Rio found her cat Sticht, a Maine Coon whose disappearance she had reported on Wednesday, April 9. Very moved, the host of “Good Morning” on Radio Contact shared the good news this Sunday, April 13 on Instagram.
He’s all emaciated, but he’s going well
In a video published on her social networks, Maria Del Rio wanted to thank her subscribers for their mobilization and their support. “Look at who is there. Just thank you to Aude who brought it back to me. Stitch returned, he is all emaciated, he is all disgusting but he is there and he is fine”she said, relieved.
She also noticed some small injuries on the animal’s muzzle, a sign that the cat probably experienced difficult times during its absence. “I see that he took little things on the muzzle, but he’s going well.”
A surge of solidarity on social networks
The host had launched a call for help a few days earlier, evoking the possibility of a flight followed by an abandonment far from her home, in the Dieweg district of Uccle. She thought that the animal had been released in the vicinity of Forest or Anderlecht. His request had been widely relayed, arousing many messages of support.
“I really wanted from the bottom of my heart to say thank you for your good waves, for your kindness, for your solidarity, for your many shares. Even in Uccle, some have made the step to go and seek it too, as Aude elsewhere”she said.
This chat, that’s all for me
Maria Del Rio did not hide the deep attachment she brings to her four -legged companion. “I am very happy. Again, I say it again, for some it may seem stupid, but this cat-to, that’s all for me”she concluded.
