As part of the National Diabetes Prevention Week, which will take place from the 1is As of June 8, 2025, the French Federation of Diabetics organized a videoconference on May 6, marking the kick -off of this new edition dedicated to awareness around diabetes and inheritance.
On the occasion of this videoconferencing, journalists, experts and representatives of the Health world, gathered to explore the challenges of genetic transmission in the different types of diabetes, including type 2 diabetes, and existing action levers despite a family predisposition.
This press conference is part of the federation’s strategy to inform and raise awareness of the risk factors for diabetes and on prevention actions to be implemented, even when you present family inheritance. By emphasizing the importance of detecting people at risk early, of adopting suitable lifestyle, and of better understanding the transmission mechanisms, the Federation intends to give everyone a power of action on their health.
