Training treatment of infection at C. trachomatis or at N. gonorrhoeae In an asymptomatic person offered by the Inspq was developed in 2016 in order to facilitate the implementation of the regulation which empowers the nurses authorized to prescribe a drug for the treatment of an infection in infection Chlamydia trachomatis or at Neisseria gonorrhoeae in an asymptomatic person.

It is partly based on the “optimal use guide – confirmed infection at C. trachomatis or at N. gonorrhoeae »From the National Institute of Excellence in and Social Services (INESSS). This guide was the subject of an update in the fall of 2024, resulting in the partial suspension of the training content while they are updated.

The training is also based on the “national protocol for the treatment of an infection C. trachomatis or at N. gonorrhoeae in an asymptomatic person ”of the Inesss. This protocol having also been revised and made available in April 2025, other elements of the training are now obsolete.

Consequently, the entire training is suspended from April 28, 2025. Work is currently underway and a version of the training should be by the fall of 2025.
