Philippe Meynard, former mayor of Barsac (Gironde), president of the association with all concerned, returns from Dakar in Africa Where he spent five days (from April 22 to 26, 2025), as part of “Africa Avc AVC”, with the ASP-AVC, the Senegalese association of patients victims of stroke and their families.

During this stay, Philippe Meynard was able to visit the neurology de Dakar who can accommodate up to 60 people – three times more than before – and the functional rehabilitation center which will soon .

The old neurology hospital will be rehabilitated for the establishment of thrombolysis (dissolve the clot).

In February 2014, Philippe Meynard’s life changed. He was struck by a stroke (stroke). He got out of it and leads today with his association a fight to inform and prevent stroke.
