Winner of the event in 2023, Tom Vaillant succeeded in the MCA professional French championship with a good card under s. The 23 -year -old feels more efficient than last year and is delighted to find European tournaments.

Golf Planete: Are you satisfied with this first round in 68 (-2)?

Tom VAILLANT : Yes, a good first round in terms of scoring. Afterwards, in the game, it was very far from what I wanted. But hey, the most important thing is to have done under the par, whatever the way I type the ball.

GP: Is this a tournament that is close to your heart after your victory in 2023?

T.V. : Yes, necessarily. Last year, I failed to be in the battle to defend my title. This year, I will try to give myself a chance. I find it a prestigious title. It is also very pleasant to have a good time with people that we do not see very often.

GP: You currently occupy 115th place in the to Dubai breed. What is your record on this first part of the season?

T.V. : I find it not so badly this assessment … It’s quite regular, it lacks a little spark to go at the top of the rankings. But it’s been three tournaments in a row that, little by little, I repeat the tip of my nose after two or three laps, so it’s a good sign. Last year at the same stadium, it was worse and I also felt much less well. We finished the events outside of Europe, we will finally be able to play tournaments that we were looking at on TV by growing up.

GP: What are your goals this season?

T.V. : I would really like to do the final of the to Dubai breed and be able to put myself regularly in position to play the victory. Win, I don’t think you can master it, but be in a position to do it, yes. So put points, do as many weekends as possible and be regular all year round.

GP: In addition to the driver, you have a mini-driver in the bag. Why this choice?

T.V. : I have been using it since last May. I removed the wood 3 because I was never very regular with it, it’s just a replacement club that I type very well. I use it in tight and fairway players. I make a slightly more regular distance than in Bois 3 with which I had an irregular spin.
