Twelve years in prison, cancellation of the driver’s license, ban on soliciting it for ten years, prohibition to drive any land vehicle for five years, keeping the seals in detention and confiscation of the seals: these are the requisitions of the Brest prosecutor’s office, taken this Monday, May 5, 2025, against the main defendant. He was continued for manslaughter, in the vehicle case, which on the night of March 30 to 31, 2024, during a rodeo on the port of Brest, had fatally mowed Alice Richard, 24. Known to the police for traffic offenses
According to a witness to the accident, the driver first stopped after struck the two people, then resumed his race, before the arrival of the aid and the police, who arrived quickly on the spot. Two other defendants appeared: two of the three passengers on the vehicle. The prosecutor requested six months ‘suspended imprisonment with regard to the passenger before and two years’ imprisonment with a warrant of the rear passenger, for non-assistance to a person in danger.
