Since Friday evening, Météo France had placed the department of Tarn-et-Garonne in yellow alert for a risk of storms locally violent … But it was not until the very end of this extended weekend of May 1 to measure the danger.

Barely 2 kilometers from the agglomeration of Beaumont, in the descent of Saint-Jean-de-Coquessac, the roadway was invaded by mudslides: a stream, usually harmless, swollen in a few minutes, making the traffic perilous.
