This Wednesday, April 30, the young people of the leisure center of the social center told their three holidays at Puy du Fou concretizing their work on the values of the Republic.
“Sensitize young people to fundamental values to strengthen their belonging to the national community “. In Trèbes, at the Capuchins social center, this project federated adolescents around fundamental republican principles. Carried by Maïlis, director of the Trébéen leisure center, the project”Promotion of the values of the Republic“, Launched by the Aude family allowance fund was accepted in 2024.
Thus a group of teenagers from 10 to 15 years old, from the Aiguille district, carried out institutional visits (town hall, prefecture, courthouse, agglo etc.), educational meetings and historical discoveries … The opportunity to ask the twenty questions prepared upstream before meeting the prefect, the mayor, the senator and other officials. These young people were able to better understand the functioning of institutions and the role of elected officials in society.
And to crown their efforts, a well -deserved reward!

The young people participated in an original and enriching stay, designed to materialize and enhance their project around the values of the Republic.
After long weeks of workshops, research and interviews carried out with local institutions, young people were able to give a new dimension to their approach through a unique historical immersion.
