Maïana Prat: “I approach these championships in confidence”
European team champion in Rimini (Italy), just a year ago, third in the general competition and European champion in the beam, the Mérignacaise Maïana Prat will obviously be part of the favorites in the junior category. “I approach these championships in confidence. I arrive from an international competition in Canada where we won first place with the French team. I finished fourth in the general competition, second in the beam and second on the ground. So I am well prepared. My primary ambition is to qualify for the finals by apparatus on Sunday, especially in the beam and on the ground. In gymnastics, we are never safe from a fall that ruins all hopes. I would like, of course, get on podiums. »»
