Yuki Tsunoda said he would not move to the United Kingdom despite his new position at Red Bull. When he moved to Italy, he was closer to his Alpha Tauri team, now known as Racing Bulls. However, as a pilot for Red Bull Racing, Tsunoda does not intend to move to the United Kingdom.
Almost all of the formula 1 teams are based in England, but only a few pilots choose to live there. Despite its role as one of the most important nations in the race world, the United Kingdom is not necessarily considered by all as the most pleasant place to reside. Time would be a specific disadvantage for Tsunoda. The Japanese pilot previously lived in the city of Milton Keynes, where the Red Bull Racing factory is located.
Tsunoda wants to stay in Italy
Yuki Tsunoda has no intention of moving from Italy to the United Kingdom. “No, I haven’t done it, and so far, I don’t plan to do it. I think I have been enough in the United Kingdom. I don’t think there are many advantages,” said the Japanese pilot last week in Miami. “I have more advantages to live in Italy.”
Tsunoda finished in 10th place at the Miami Grand Prix
Tsunoda once lived in Milton Keynes during the Cavid period before being in Formula 1. “Unfortunately, when I lived in Milton Keynes, it was during the forties, so I did not spend the best time in the United Kingdom. It certainly did not help. But with this kind of time in formula 1, when you have free time, it is very important to have a house where you can feel comfortable in order to reset your mind,” he said.
The Japanese pilot feels comfortable and installed at home in Italy. “So far, Italy allows me to recharge my batteries and I feel very comfortable. I am happy with Italy. I am happy to go to Milton Keynes for simulator sessions or for anything.”
