Alpine F1 will assess Jack Doohan’s position well and studies the need for a change of pilot from the next Formula 1 race in Imola.
After kicking in touch on rumors this Thursday, Oliver Oakes did not want to answer questions on this subject on Sunday evening, after the Miami race, which saw Doohan abandon at the start.
Flavio Briatore had entrusted him with his usual brutality that the Australian was evaluated from time to time (to read here).
It seems that Alpine F1 holds Doohan responsible for her abandonment yesterday, after contact at the first turn with Liam Lawson. Doohan hit him after a missed braking inside at the first turn, then crossing the vibrator to avoid the car from the Racing Bulls.
-This is the last in a series of disappointing races for Doohan, which had nevertheless started his season in terms of rhythm.
In Enstone this week, the Franco Colapinto plan could therefore be activated from Imola since F1 will continue with a series of three European Grands Prix.
Alpine did not want to comment on the rumors, and the director of the team, Oliver Oakes, did not hold a press conference on Sunday evening in Miami.
